Easter Sunday may still be a matter of months away, however chocolate treats for the festivity hit the shelves weeks ago. Lidl shopping plan that feeds a family of five for just £10 a day
The retailer is currently offering customers the chance to pick up two of the five-pack Cadbury eggs for £2.
These packs usually sell for £1.65 for one five-pack at Tesco, the website details.
This includes the packs: Cadbury Creme Egg 5 X 40G, Cadbury 5 Caramel Egg 195g, and Cadbury Oreo Chocolate Egg 5X31g.
It means that currently, spending £2 on the deal would mean the customer ends up with 10 of the chocolate eggs in total – split across two packs.
However, this deal does not last forever, as the supermarket explains.
On its website, Tesco says that the offer is “valid for delivery from 19/02/2020 until 25/02/2020.”
Also in the two for £2 offer is a pack of Cadbury Mini Eggs 96g.
Elsewhere in supermarket news, a savvy shopper has explained how they manage to keep to a weekly budget of around £60 to £70 for their groceries.
The Mumsnet user explained that this feeds a family of five, back in 2018.
“Heismyopendoor” told fellow users of the website that they had children aged nine, six, and almost five.
The savvy shopper laughed: “My kids honestly eat more than me.”
They went on to explain that they tend to keep to a weekly meal plan, and also revealed they opted against buying ready made food kits.
