Property experts at Zoopla have identified the UK’s hottest properties for sale with many of them having royal connections. From Princess Diana’s home to dwellings overlooking Buckingham Palace, Zoopla has listed all the properties available to buy that have royal heritage – and they come with a hefty price tag too.

Princess Diana home – Kensington

Princess Diana lived in Kensington, London, just a stones throw away from Kensington Palace, until she died.

The four bedroom apartment, which has its own private roof terrace, has gone on sale for a whopping £2.6million.

The home is a current working royal residence and the grand and luxurious building boasts on-street parking and huge entrance pillars.

HRH Alexander Mountbatten – Mayfair

Also featuring in the list is a luxury former royal residence located in Dunraven Street, Mayfair.

Mayfair is one of the most luxurious areas of London with the average property price reaching a staggering £2.5million.

Set within a Grade II blue plaque listed property, the home has several notable former residents including royals.

The luxury home was once owned by HRH Alexander Mountbatten, a grandson of Queen Victoria and relative of Lord Louis Mountbatten and Prince Philip.

The stunning unique three bedroom penthouse features two bathrooms, one reception room and a magnificent kitchen breakfast room.

However due to its location and royal connections, it also comes with a hefty price tag.

It is on the market for a whopping £6.9million and features a grand entrance.
