Dover, located further down the Kent coast, came in second place with average house prices at £274,982.
Homeowners in Dover can enjoy stunning views of the Channel, Dover Castle and the famous white cliffs.
Portmeirion, in Gwynedd, Wales, came in third place with homes costing £172,875 on average – attractive if you can work from home.
Whitby, North Yorkshire, was fourth, with Weymouth, Dorset, in fifth.
