How do you clean laminate floors?
Experts explained to Express.co.uk that laminate floors will benefit from regular cleaning over the course of the week, along with a deeper clean every so often.
Experts at MyJobQuote said: “You should try to clean your laminate floor two to three times a week.
“For regular cleaning, you should follow this step-by-step guide.
“The first thing you need to do is sweep the laminate floor using a soft bristle angled brush to clear away any mess, dust or pet hair.
“This will help you get into difficult to reach corners.
“Once the floor is clear of any loose dirt, you should vacuum the entire area, making sure you use a soft-brush attachment to prevent scratches.
“If your vacuum cleaner has a hard floor setting, you should make use of it, as this will stop the rotation of the beater brush and will again prevent damage.”

“The best deep-cleaning method involves the following steps:
“To deep clean laminate floor, you should use a vinegar solution that consists of a ¼ cup of white vinegar combined with water.
“This should be placed in a spray bottle for easy use.
“The solution should be sprayed directly onto the laminate floor in small sections.
“You should then immediately wipe away the solution with a damp, clean cloth.
“Ensure the cloth is not dripping wet when you wipe it on the laminate floor, as this type of flooring is not waterproof.
“You should then dry the floor thoroughly with a dry microfibre cloth, making sure no areas are left wet.”
