Fortnite 2 could be on the way next year as Epic Games goes on a hiring spree.
The Fortnite developer has listed nine new job roles listed on LinkedIn and 379 total on its website.
The positions include a Concept Artist who will be tasked with creating "alternate skin designs for approved hero characters."
The listing describes a candidate who can design "slick, detailed, modern, forward-looking characters."
Meanwhile, an Experience Design Lead will be joining the Fortnite team to design "events and brand experiences" and "help shape the Fortnite ecosystem for the future."
Interestingly, Epic is also looking for a Product Marketing Director for Metaverse development.
Fortnite is essentially a metaverse experience, experimenting with events and social aspects before everyone else jumped on the bandwagon.
"This is an important leadership role that will start a new function within the Metaverse Development team," reads the listing.
That includes "building, launching and scaling products such as Fortnite Creative, Support-A-Creator and new monetization tools."
The successful applicant will "develop and manage a genre-defining product marketing team in the emerging field of metaverse development."

Fortnite is a live service game, which means it constantly gets updated and the game as we know it can be kept going for years.
But with the migration to Unreal Engine 5, the ushering in of the metaverse, and the general feedback from the Fortnite player base complaining that the game is getting stale, a sequel could move everyone over into the new-and-improved version of the game.
One that's metaverse ready, with a design overhaul, and updated for the newest generation of consoles.
Given the lifespan of the Fortnite Chapters so far, Chapter 3 should wrap up at the end of 2023.
The console drought should be over by then, and the metaverse will be more prevalent.
It would be the perfect time to roll out a sequel, rather than moving to Chapter 4, but let us know what your predictions are!
