If you've been curious about learning how to code for a potential career pivot (or want to improve upon what you already know), there are plenty of reputable online coding courses to teach you.

Of course, coding degree programs or bootcamps can get pricey, which is why it's worth considering Codecademy. The educational coding platform provides free, basic online courses in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, and HTML, but if you want unlimited access to all of Codecademy's offerings (such as a certification of completion or more focused learning), you'll need a Pro membership.

With a Pro membership — normally $39.99 per month if paying month-to-month and $19 per month annually — you get member-only content such as "Career Paths" (which teach you the skills to land jobs like a front-end or full-stack engineer); step-by-step help; more challenging projects; and a certificate of completion to add to your resume or LinkedIn profile.
